This album was a very rare small album made by maiden before they could afford to produce a proper album. Only around 2000 copies were made. On given the chance to re-release it, Steve said, 'We could, but maiden's only bothered about music, not making more money'. Prowler got to number one in Neal Kay's metal charts at The Bandswagon.
