Only performing on the first two albums, Paul did not necessarily have a short career with maiden. For years before, he had been performing with them in The Ruskin Arms twice a week, he performed on the soundhouse tapes, Iron Maiden and Killers and performed with them on a live video Live at the Rainbow. He has since moved from band to band doing covers of the songs they played when he was with them. The sheer power of his voice can be heard on such songs as Prowler, Phantom of the Opera and Twilight Zone. He has recently released a live album with a band called the Beast called Paul Di'anno and the Beast - Live. He can be heard singing with a more 'Death Metal' voice than he did with maiden. The music's faithful but the singin' ain't!! No offence, Paul.
